As a freelance commercial fashion and beauty artist, Edward Kurtzman is recognized as one of the country’s leading fashion illustrators. His work has appeared internationally in both advertising and editorial media as well as pattern company catalogs, look books and packaging. His paintings and drawings are in private collections throughout the United States and abroad. He has exhibited in the New York/Philadelphia area. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kurtzman is an alumnus of the prestigious Philadelphia Museum College of Art and built his career in New York soon after. Kurtzman is also a recipient of both the Art Directors Club award and the NRMA award for Best Retail Ad of the Year. Most recently, Mr. Kurtzman has done celebrity portraits that have appeared on CD’s as well as book jacket covers.
